So, apparently there's a super class typhoon (Usagi) heading straight for Hong Kong. Luckily one of the lab technicians told us about it yesterday. Otherwise we wouldn't have known. I suppose we'll just stay home for the next few days.
On the bright side, we found a very nice small restaurant near the Prince Philip Dental Hospital. A good place to get a meal after or during our work sessions. Even though we're barely able to read the chinese menu, we still haven't gone wrong with our choices there. So it's all good.
Yesterday we went to the hospital in the evening to do some work after a long day of eating and shopping. Everything was dark at the 4th floor (DMS) so we turned on the lights. So we started doing a bit of work, with some music playing ni the background. After 20 minutes or so, suddenly all the lights went out and everything went dark. Our first thought was, either it's a power outage, a timer or it's haunted. But in the end it was just a co-worker who was heading home and she thought noone was there anymore. I did have a mini heart attack though. Next time I'll bring something to defend myself against the ethereal!
