About Dane

My name is Dane Tio, I'm a 3rd year master student at the faculty of dentistry at ACTA Amsterdam. I'm 25 years old and from chinese-indonesian descent. Chindo for short. I'm part of a twin, my brother is a medicine student at the VU (Vrije Universiteit). Some would say I'm the evil twin.

During the period september-december 2013 I will be conducting research at  the HKU (Hong Kong University) with my good friend Chu Kan. I will investigate the plastic deformation that arises after either clinical use and/or autoclaving of the novel HyFlex files. 

Even though I've been to Asia very often, I've never been to Hong Kong before. This will be my first time and I don't speak Cantonese (local chinese dialect). Luckily I will be staying at a locals house with Chu Kan. So at least I should be able to survive :p.
